Kinetic Text
to No Pressure by edbl & Miller Blue

This kinetic typography animation was created for my Motion Graphics Studio course at IDM in Fall 2022. I selected the song “No Pressure” by edbl and Miller Blue, using its first minute to design the kinetic text animation. Throughout this project, I gained proficiency in Kinetic Text, Clone Stamp, Eraser Tool, Puppet Pin, Motion Tracking, Cameras, Lighting, and Color Grading in Adobe After Effects. The process began with crafting a storyboard and project plan to map out the animation. In After Effects, I designed the kinetic text lyric by lyric, focusing on precise timing and seamless synchronization with the song’s rhythm. The animation style was developed to visually complement the mood and energy of the lyrics, enhancing the storytelling through movement and design. This project provided valuable hands-on experience in combining music and motion graphics to create dynamic and engaging visual content.
