Hi, I’m Erica Tang—a recent NYU graduate with a major in Economics and double minors in Integrated Design & Media and Psychology. I’ve always been fascinated by how design shapes our lives and connects us as humans. This fascination stems from my deeply empathetic nature—a quality that drives me to create meaningful, lasting impact.

My academic path has been one of discovery and connection. Economics taught me to think analytically and understand society’s broader systems, while Psychology helped me dive deeply into human thoughts and behaviors. Design brought everything together, teaching me how to approach challenges creatively and collaboratively. By building products and iterating solutions for real-world problems, I discovered a passion for turning thoughtful ideas into impactful outcomes.

I strive to be a product designer who blends curiosity, empathy, and innovation to create solutions that truly make a difference. For me, every design is an opportunity to improve lives, foster connections, and leave a positive impact on the world.
